RALLY "KAUNO RUDUO 2008" INFORMATION
Rally „Kauno ruduo 2008“ (Kauna‘s Autumn) on the 19-20th of September will bring together to Kaunas rally leaders not only from Lithuania, but abroad aswell. Traditional rally, organised in memory of honoured Lithuanian automobile sport masters Kastytis and Arvydas Girdauskai, is celebrating its 35th anniversary.
This year, rally „Kauno ruduo“, that has old traditions and history, will invite rally fans and admirers to the very heart of Kaunas City – City Hall square, where not only rally events, but also an international car sound competition will be held. Events of rally „Kauno ruduo 2008“ is also a sportsmens‘ gift for Kaunas City, that celebrates its 600 years birthday, citizens and guests.

RALLY "KAUNO RUDUO 2008" INFORMATION
Rally „Kauno ruduo 2008“ (Kauna‘s Autumn) on the 19-20th of September will bring together to Kaunas rally leaders not only from Lithuania, but abroad aswell. Traditional rally, organised in memory of honoured Lithuanian automobile sport masters Kastytis and Arvydas Girdauskai, is celebrating its 35th anniversary.
This year, rally „Kauno ruduo“, that has old traditions and history, will invite rally fans and admirers to the very heart of Kaunas City – City Hall square, where not only rally events, but also an international car sound competition will be held. Events of rally „Kauno ruduo 2008“ is also a sportsmens‘ gift for Kaunas City, that celebrates its 600 years birthday, citizens and guests.
Beeing one of the eldest rally in Lithuania, that is organised since 1974, rally „Kauno ruduo“ this year will surprise participants and spectators with its stages. On Friday, the 1st day of rally, participants will race not only in Kaunas Oldtown, but also in one more city stage in Aleksotas. On Saturday rally „Kauno ruduo 2008“ stages will be held in areas of Trakai and Elektrenai. In total, lenght of rally „Kauno ruduo 2008“ road – almost 218 km and 8 rally stages (105 km).
Organisers of this rally, that is popular not only between Lithuanian rally teams, but also by international competitors, in order to inspire even more impressive fights in stages, are going to award the winners not only with cups and diplomas. Prize fund will be formed and 50% of entry fees will be dedicated.
Meanwhile spectators will have a chance not only follow rally fights, but also have fun in concerts and other events of „Rally week“. International „Clarion cup“ car sound competition is waiting for car and sound systems‘ lovers. Almost 100 car owners from Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Bellorussia, Russia and Lithuania will participate in this competition, that is organised by „Emma“.
